Blackstrap molasses, rich in vitamins and minerals, helps relieve stress, provides beautiful skin and strengthens the skeleton. Relieves symptoms of PMS and ADHD and stabilises blood sugar levels. Among the minerals, molasses is rich in calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, copper, selenium and potassium, making it an excellent supplement for a wide range of health conditions. Molasses is also rich in B vitamins, especially vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6, which are essential for energy production. Blackstrap molasses has the distinctive feature of being low in sugars, which leave an alkaline residue in the body, helping to buffer excess acidity accumulating in the tissues. Suitable for diabetics, glycaemic load 55 (sugar 60). The glycaemic load is calculated by multiplying the glycaemic index by the amount of absorbable carbohydrate (in grams) in a portion of food and dividing by 100.
