More than 95% of the wood used to produce Faber-Castell pencils and crayons comes from FSC-certified plantations and renewable sources.

Pencils made from 100% FSC-certified wood are sustainably sourced, which means your sketch will not contribute to deforestation.

In addition, they are non-toxic and have a high resistance to breakage at various degrees of hardness.
Sharpened with a special SV sharpening process, they are easy to sharpen and long lasting.

The company owns more than 10 000 hectares of pine forest in Brazil, which is the raw material for these pencils, absorbing more than 900 000 tonnes of CO2 and neutralising production emissions.
