The organic dried hemp plant (with flowers, seeds and leaves) contains 7% CBD (cannabidiol) and 3.5% CBG (cannabigerol). The Futura cannabis strain is organically grown.

Hemp tea has a calming and relaxing effect. Lowers blood pressure. Suitable in times of stress, insomnia, headaches and migraines. May have muscle relaxing effects. CBG, or cannabigerol, promotes sleep, helps with insomnia and difficulty falling asleep.

Preparation . It is recommended to preheat the herb in a 100C oven or pan for 1 min before brewing (toast gently) and add a pinch of butter to the teapot to release the active ingredients more effectively.

CBG e. cannabigerol was discovered by scientists in 1964. Cannabigerol is not psychoactive but plays an important role in the biochemistry of cannabis. CBG is the precursor of other cannabinoids (CBD and THC). As cannabigerol is not psychoactive and is only present in small amounts in cannabis plants, cannabis varieties containing it can be legally cultivated.
