Matcha is a ground green tea that is dried after the tea leaves are harvested whole and then ground into a fine powder.

Matcha tea is even healthier than green tea because matcha tea leaf powder dissolves and is better absorbed.

To make matcha tea: sprinkle a little matcha powder in the bottom of a teacup (1 tsp to a glass of boiled water (80C)). Stir until all the matcha powder is mixed with water. Use a whisk if necessary.
